Dylan Turner, PE, CCP, LEED AP BD+C
Dylan Turner leads the firm’s Mechanical EngineeringMechanical Engineering, Commissioning Services and Vertical Transportation (VT) practices.
He has participated in and led a wide variety of projects including comprehensive mechanical systems design (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) for new and renovated buildings including tenant improvements; 100’s of vertical transportation system refurbishments and design of new installations (elevator, escalator, materials lifts, ada lifts); and commissioning of industrial, higher educational, and civic buildings and spaces.
Energy conservation is a personal and firm value, strongly promoted by Dylan through his designs. He works with the design team and owners to evaluate options for building systems that minimize the carbon footprint such as “right-sizing” systems to drive down the use of energy; conversion of systems to all-electric and/or hybrid systems that incorporate clean energy sources; water re-use through rainwater capture and greywater systems; and implementing maintenance programs that diligently work at keeping systems functioning efficiently, with the broader opportunity to extend the systems’ useful life.
Dylan is experienced with contemporary alternative procurement project delivery methods: Design Build, Progressive Design Build, DBPM, GC/CM, CM/GC, and DBB.
Dylan is a licensed engineer in Washington and Oregon and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
He served as 2018 and 2019 Engineering Representative, State of Washington Labor & Industries, Elevator Technical Advisory Committee.
Dylan joined Greenbusch in 2011.
