Accounting Assistant
The Greenbusch Group is a multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm located in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. We are looking for a responsible part-time accounting assistant to perform a variety of accounting tasks. This position will start out working remotely, and as Covid-19 gathering rules evolve, will move to an in-office, flexible schedule.
The successful candidate for this position will possess:
- Proficiency in MS office
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task
- Associate degree; Accounting assistant experience in A|E|C industry is a plus
- 1-2 years previous experience in an office environment
Job Requirements:
- Perform monthly billing function for all projects such as invoicing.
- Manage project fee & budget updates
- Confirm final billing is complete and all costs have been recorded to project
- Coordinate project closeout activities
- Process W9 and insurance requests
- Handle other assignments as designated by department principal
- Receive, sort and distribute the mail
- Occasionally lift 5-10 lbs
This is a part-time position.
