Idaho State Capitol Building Technology Upgrades Master Plan

With renovation of spaces in the Idaho State Capitol, combined with the evolving user needs for Audio/Video capabilities and functionality, Greenbusch was engaged to perform a Masterplan for AV technology.

Tasks include an evaluation of current systems, cost estimates for upgrade, and a long-term plan for sustained growth. The AV equipment evaluated includes: projection systems, microphones and speakers, listening assistance devices, public television broadcasting equipment and distribution channels, lighting control systems, acoustical optimizing, and infrastructure reliability equipment including such things as fire suppression and fiber network redundancy. Acoustical measurements of existing sound systems in the House and Senate Chambers was performed for reverberation time, coverage, and speech intelligibility (STI) of existing sound systems. Greenbusch drafted a Master Plan Report Summary for presentation to the Capitol Commission.
