Colman Dock Ferry Terminal Renovation

Colman Dock is the largest ferry terminal in the state, and is currently undergoing a significant facility renovation to address seismic concerns. The new terminal replaces old areas of the ferry terminal, reconfigures the layout, replaces aged piles, features a new entry building, elevated plaza, viewing platform and vendor spaces.

Greenbusch (GBG) is providing Mechanical Engineering Design for the HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems for the new 9,000 SF Entry Building (that connects to the Marion Street pedestrian overpass) and the new 3,000 SF Vehicle and Passenger Attendant Crew (VPAC) Building. Mechanical elements include design of the exterior steam and natural gas piping systems, and distribution/conversion to the new service.

The firm is also the Vertical Transportation (Elevator/Escalator) Consultant for these buildings.
