University of Washington Medical South Lake Union

Completed Fall 2018, University of Washington's South Lake Union (SLU) Medical Building integrates UW Medicines’ retina clinic, diabetes institute, urgent care and neighborhood clinic and provides room for expansion.

The two-phased project involved extensive civil design during Phase 1 for foundation and underground garage. Greenbush was involved throughout both phases providing Vertical Transportation Consulting for elevator conveyances including circulation study. Greenbush Acoustical elements of note include recommendations and detailing for construction necessary to acoustically separate the various research labs, office, seminar rooms and clinic spaces for the eight above ground floors.
