City of Tukwila Fire Stations 51 & 52

As part of a Public Safety bond, three new fire stations were approved. Greenbusch as a subconsultant to Weinstein A+U, performed Mechanical scope including plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire sprinkler systems, and vehicle exhaust extraction systems. Special features include:

1) State of the art sustainable high-efficiency heat recovery ventilation, heat sharing capable heat pumps, and high efficiency domestic water heating systems designed to complement a secure facility;

2) Robust and durable systems that are straightforward to maintain and operate; and

3) Comfortable and healthy environment for building users.

Greenbusch also performed a Noise Study to evaluate sound levels associated with FS 52, that predicted sound levels at neighboring property lines and an assessment of compliance with City of Tukwila noise regulations.
